Web4Law Precedent Materials

Web4Law publish a range of CD's to help busy practitioners meet their compliance obligations within management territory which may not be terribly familiar to them!

Our Tony Girling Precedents have been significantly extended to include questionnaires for property work, client care letters for crime and family, explanatory documentation for clients as well as insurance mediation documentation.  Various clauses included in the precedents have been specifically drafted as a result of claims made against solicitors, and are designed to assist solicitors in avoiding loss on the basis that they have failed to follow Court Rules or the Code of Conduct.

We also publish two CD's covering law firms' obligations in respect of Property Risk Management and Business Continuity.  Both of these areas come under increasing scrutiny as a result of the SRA Code of Conduct, with its increased emphasis on risk management generally.  Principle 8 of the new Code requires practitioners to run their practices 'in accordance with sound risk management principles', and this is a theme running throughout the current compliance landscape.

All of our precedent materials can be ordered via the Web4Law Online Shop.
