As well as the main presentations, the CD also contains links to the main statutory and regulatory provisions, and lecture notes providing guidance on anti-money laundering and countering terrorist financing issues. On completion of this course, practitioners will have:
- An appreciation of the need for compliance with the applicable statutory law and regulations, including the possible sanctions for non-compliance under the criminal and civil law, also the Code of Conduct 2007
- An understanding of the need for compliance with CDD processes regardless of concerns on disclosures under the main legalisation An understanding of how European law has shaped domestic law on this subject
- An ability to apply the need for disclosures to the main work areas covered by the firm in question
- An appreciation of how privilege -- both common law and the statutory format -- affect the disclosure regime

Are You Experiencing Problems with the CD?
A very few clients are experiencing difficulties with playing the audio/visual presentations from our 'Combating Money Laundering' Training Disk.
The problem is caused by a recent upgrade of Flash Player by Adobe, which is not backward-compatible with a variety of presentation software, including Articulate, the programme used to prepare our presentations on the disk. As our disk was produced well before the Adobe 'upgrade', some people using the disk for the first time now may experience problems if they have upgraded to the most recent version of Flash Player.
Adobe have acknowledged both the problem and the fact that it is of their making. They have produced a 'patch' which is available from their website. The presentations can be copied from our disk onto a hard drive, and the patch applied there. However,it cannot be applied directly to the CD (which, once burnt, cannot be edited).
However, in order to try to resolve this problem for our clients, we have prepared a version of the disk which includes the patch. If you are affected by this issue, please contact us at support@web4law.biz and we will arrange to supply you with a replacement disk.
